Lockdown in England Part 2 英格蘭封城的日子

This is my Lockdown in England life part 2.  We’ve finally finished our near month long lockdown a few days ago!

However, for me, it just means jumping from a national lockdown to Tier 3 lockdown which is the most stringent level in England. All the shops will be open now, but not restaurants, and up to 6 people can meet but only at outdoor public places. That’s not much improvement for me as I can’t really see my family because it’s too cold to sit outdoors for too long. Hopefully, things will improve when the government reviews the situation in two weeks time.

Following from my previous post about the first two weeks of my lockdown life, here’s what I’ve been up to for the last two weeks.

英格蘭經過近一個月封城，今天解封了。但對我來講，只是從全國封城，跳到第三級，也是最嚴謹的封鎖。所有零售店鋪可以開門，但餐廳就不可以。限聚領不能超過6人，而且只能在公眾戶外地方而。這樣我還是不能與家人聚會，因為天氣實在太冷，不會在戶外逗留太久。希望兩個禮拜後，政府再評估情況時，可以有改善。

上次分享過我封城頭兩個禮拜的生活，現在分享剛過去兩個多禮拜的日子。

由 – 9 開始數好像比較正面
很快就可以看到曙光
但還有一段漫長路才能走出這個困境

I think -9 countdown sounds a lot more positive
We’re getting nearer to the end of this tunnel
Still a lot of work needed to get out of the woods

What else does one do during lockdown apart from eat?

很快建到屋頂

We have some maintenance work at home
Been watching the scaffolders
Build from ground up to rooftop

Countdown day 6 till end of lockdown
Then it’s Tier 3 the highest level
Perhaps I’ll start to grow cobwebs as well

倒數第六天就解封
之後開始第三級限制
看來我人也快長蜘蛛網了

It really is a bit chilly today
The sun was out, plus a hot drink
Feels so nice sitting outdoors

今天真是有點冷
太陽出來了 加杯熱飲料
坐在戶外很舒服
